Laboratory Technician
Wheal Jane Laboratory has a full-time vacancy for a laboratory technician.
Main tasks include carrying out analysis of samples using ICP-OES, AAS and XRF instruments, with some lighter duties such as making up stock solutions, sample preparation, washing glassware, and maintaining equipment.
We are offering a competitive salary package with additional enhancements following completion of a six-month probationary period.

Sample Preparation Technician
Wheal Jane Laboratory is looking for a graduate/student for up to a twelve-month paid placement as a sample preparation technician.
Main tasks include sorting, crushing, splitting, and pulverising rock chip and drill core samples, plus other general laboratory duties. This type of work would suit an individual looking to gain some work experience as a first career step.
